Welcome to Career Ready Kansas:
           
The Career Ready Kansas (CRK) web site offers several major areas for use in the Rigorous Programs of Study (RPOS) grant, forums, CTE pathways, professional development, and deliverables.  All participating CTE schools will be able to access these areas, once registered, to read materials, gain access to RPOS materials, and post content to the web site. - RPOS Fact Sheet (.docx)

- Information: Updates, grant specifics, upcoming deadlines, and other RPOS information will be posted in this area.

- Rigor Tips: Learn what has worked for the 4 participating RPOS school districts to improve rigor in their own CTE program and pathways offered.  These tips come from an urban, suburban, rural and small rual schools in Kansas, so you will be sure to find somthing that will match your school.

- Forums: A discussion area for all 10 frameworks, where secondary and post-secondary schools may post ideas, questions, and information about each framework.  Members of KSDE will be participating in these forums, but if you have a specific/time sensitive question, please contact them directly.

- Deliverables: Each school will be able to upload their documentation, pertaining to each deliverable, to a designated area for archiving their achievements in the 10 frameworks.  Multiple documents may be uploaded to each deliverable area, as well as different variations as updates or changes are made.

Career Ready Kansas (CRK) showcases four secondary (Wichita, Derby, Emporia and Nemaha Valley)  and six postsecondary (Wichita Area Technical College, Manhattan Area Technical College, Butler Community College, Flint Hills Technical College, Fort Hays State University and Hutchinson Community College) partners delivering rigorous programs of study to improve student learning outcomes and respond to changing workforce and economic development needs in Kansas.  Focused on Manufacturing production pathway, Kansas will implement a rigorous program of study for the Manufacturing Career Cluster. Kansas students will attain the advanced academic and technical skills needed for the high skilled, high wage jobs required by these demand occupations.
